There is the possibility for researchers willing to attend the event and meeting precise eligibility criteria to obtain financial support from the EC. To verify if you meet the eligibility criteria and to apply for support please click HERE.
 

The reimbursement will be made after the event, as soon as all funded researchers have sent all the original receipts and invoices related to their participation expenses (board, lodging, travel and registration) to the AIVELA Secretariat. A deadline will shortly be fixed.

Financial support is given by the EC towards the following participation expenses:

LIVING ALLOWANCE
A contribution is given to cover subsistence expenses. The contribution can cover up to 100% of the real expenses up to a maximum per day of 148.95 €.
Researchers are requested to provide the AIVELA Secretariat with receipts and invoices (original documents) related to the living expenses faced during the days of attendance. The reimbursement will be made upon receipt of all the above mentioned documents.

TRAVEL ALLOWANCE
A contribution is given to cover travel expenses between the researchers' location of origin and the location of the event.
The travel expenses are covered on the basis of real costs up to the maximum amounts indicated in the table below:
 

* Direct distance (as the crow flies) based on latitude and longitudine between the two locations

Researchers are requested to provide the AIVELA Secretariat with the tickets (original documents) related to the travel expenses faced to reach the event venue. The reimbursement will be made upon receipt of the above mentioned documents.

REGISTRATION FEES
A contribution is given to cover up to 100% of the participation fees.
Reserahcres are requested to provide the AIVELA Secretariat with the original receipt of the registration. The reimbursement will be made upon receipt of the above mentioned documents.
