Prof. Giulio Guj was among the founding members of A.I.VE.LA.
He passed away in October 2007, leaving to us all a very special memory.

He has been, in the last ten years, in charge of about 20  scientific contracts for  a total financial support of more than 1.000.000 euros, with private and public companies: Centro Italiano Ricerche Aerospaziali (CIRA), ENEA, MURST, ASI, CNR, E.S.CO.SOLAR, SHP, EU, MBDA.

- He is Co-author of 130 scientific papers, the majority of which are published in international journals (37) or in proceeding of international conferences (45).

- Italian representative for the University in the Aeroacoustics Specialists' Committee of Confederation of European Aerospace Societies (CEAS).

- Reviewer of scientific journals among which: Physics of Fluids, Int. Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids; Journal of Computational Physics; Experiments in Fluids; Int. J. Heat and Fluid Flows; Computers and Fluids, Numerical Heat Transfer, Computer Methods in App. Mech. and Eng., Meccanica.
