8th Intl Conference on  Vibration Measurements by Laser Techniques & Short Course Faculty of Engineering Ancona, 17- 20 June 2008

The Conference is held in the Tower of the Faculty of Engineering , University of Ancona, in a modern complex of buildings situated on a hill facing Ancona’s beautiful harbour. The Conference will take place in the Aula Magna and in room 160/3 (for parallel sessions). In order to facilitate orientation in the Faculty, each floor is identified by its altitude above sea level. The main entrance to the Tower is at level 160, floor #1, while the Aula Magna is at level 150, floor #-1. On the same floor as the Aula Magna there is also the Exhibition area and the Conference Registration desk.

DAILY TRANSPORT SERVICE TO THE VENUE
A daily transport service from the hotels (only the hotels listed on our site) to the Conference venue each morning before the beginning
of the first session and back each evening after the end of the last session is organised.

LUNCHES / COFFEE BREAKS
Lunches will be served in ‘Salone Polifunzionale’ at level 160, floor #1. Since lunch breaks last only approximately 1 hour and a half, participants are kindly asked to reach the luch area as soon as the last morning session ends.
Coffee breaks will take place in front of the Aula Magna.
Lunches and coffee breaks are included in the Conference Registration fee.
Lunches for accompanying persons must be booked and paid for directly at the Conference Registration Desk one day in advance.

BANK
UNICREDIT bank has a counter inside the Tower of the Faculty of Engineering at level 155, floor #0. Opening time is from 09.00 am to 12.00 am, Monday to Friday. If you need assistance to change or withdraw money, do not hesitate to ask at the Registration Desk.
