ABOUT the ASSOCIATION

UPCOMING EVENTS

The International Association of Laser Velocimetry and non invasive diagnostics is a non-profit cultural association that was founded in July 1991. The main objectives of A.I.VE.LA. are to:

– bring together people, associations, companies, firms and bodies interested in the development of non-contact or minimally invasive measurement techniques of mechanical, fluid-dynamic, thermal, chemical, etc. quantities, with particular reference to techniques based on electromagnetic radiation and with prevalent attention to optical techniques, and related research activities;

– promote and disseminate the studies, research, development and applications of the measurement techniques referred to above through journals, publications, conventions and conferences, prizes, scholarships etc., both at a national and international level;

– promote cooperation between Universities, Industries and Research Institutions in the field of the measurement methods referred to above;

– organize and hold a national conference on the activities carried out by the Association at least once a year.
