PRESENTATION
The 80th CEEES Meeting will be held in conjunction with the A.I.VE.LA. XXXI Annual National Meeting in Milan, Italy, on 5-6 December 2023.
The events are organised by AIVELA and CEEES in collaboration with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Politecnico di Milano, and the Department of Industrial and Information Engineering and Economics, University of L’Aquila, Italy.
The AIVELA XXXI Annual National Meeting focuses on non-contact or minimally invasive measurement techniques. Further details about the event are available HERE.
Proposals for papers by CEEES experts on the fields of interest of the CEEES Technical Advisory Boards, i.e. Reliability and EES, Mechanical Environment, Climatic and Environmental Pollution Effects, will be highly welcome.
Also, contribution presenting the strategies and activities of work Groups in National Associations could be of interest.
Multiple proposals by each National Associations with reference to both scientific and technical aspects will be strongly appreciated.

How to reach the venue
By Train
Take the Malpensa Express and get off at “Bovisa Politecnico” station. Once outside, turn right and go down the stairs. Then turn left in via Privata Mariani and, at the end of the street, turn right in via La Masa. The Department of Mechanical Engineering is on your left. Alternatively, take the underground M3 yellow line to “Repubblica” station (destination: “S. Donato”) and then take the S1, S2 or S13 lines or take the M2 green line to “Garibaldi” station (destinations: “Assago” or “Abbiategrasso”) and then take the S1, S2 or S13 lines.
By Plane
From Malpensa: take the Malpensa Express train that leaves Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 every 30 minutes. Get off at “Bovisa Politecnico” station. Once outside, turn right and go down the stairs. Then turn left in via Privata Mariani and, at the end of the street, turn right in via La Masa. The Department of Mechanical Engineering is on your left.
From Linate: catch bus 73, a non-stop bus which will take you to the city centre (Piazza S. Babila). Then catch the underground (M1 red line) TO “Rho Fiera” or “Bisceglie” and get off at “FNM Cadorna” station. In the daytime trains leave “FNM Cadorna” station every 5-10 minutes.
The Confederation of European Environmental Engineering Societies – CEEES is a forum for international co-operation and information exchange regarding the resistance and integrity of products and systems against environmental influences. It was created as a co-operative body for the leading European societies in this field. Its stakeholders are particularly active in procedures related to ensuring the resistance and integrity of products and systems against environmental influences. CEEES technical advisory boards encompass mechanical and transportation stresses, stress screening, reliability and the effects of climate and pollution on equipment and structures.
